2009 marks the 200th anniversary of Darwin’s birth, the 150th anniversary of his publication of On the Origin of Species, and the 400th anniversary of the publication of Kepler’s first two laws of planetary motion. To celebrate these events, UConn has joined with more than 150 organizations to declare 2009 the Year of Science.
